How To Uptain Your Licence

Start with expert-led Class D and Class G courses designed to meet every Florida requirement. Our instructors combine real-world security experience with engaging lessons and practical drills, giving you the skills and confidence to succeed.

Complete State-Approved Training

Enroll in a licensed security training course (Class D for unarmed, Class G for armed). Finish the required classroom hours and pass the school’s final exam.

Submit Your Application

Gather your certificate of completion, fingerprint card, passport photo, and identification. Apply online or in person with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) and pay the state fee.

Pass Background Check & Receive License

FDACS reviews your application and runs a background check. Once approved, you’ll receive your Florida security officer license by mail, allowing you to start working as a licensed security professional.
