To become an Armed Security Officer the State of Florida requires 28 hours of combined classroom instruction and firearm range instruction to obtain your Armed Security Officer “Firearm G License".

The Florida Department of Agriculture Division of Licensing allows the following calibers to be used on duty:
9mm, .40, .45, .380, and .38 Special caliber handguns.
Our Firearm G License Training exceeds the requirements mandated by the State of Florida. Students will be trained according to Chapter 790 State Law in all legal aspects of carrying and the safe and appropriate use of a firearm. Gun range training will include course of fire and qualification requirements for Firearm G License.
